Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs (17-28-0-2) will play two home games in two nights against two North Division opponents this weekend. Hamilton will begin the week on Saturday, January 28 by facing the Rochester Americans (21-20-1-1) at Copps Coliseum (7:00 p.m.). The Bulldogs will then take on the Manitoba Moose (27-13-3-2) on Sunday, January 29 at Copps Coliseum (4:00 p.m.) to complete the weekend.

- D Andre Benoit recorded his first multi-point game since October 28, earning two assists in Hamilton's 4-2 loss to the Manitoba Moose on Friday, January 20.
- LW Jean-Francois Jacques scored his team-leading 13th goal of the season on Saturday, January 21 in the Bulldogs' 4-1 loss to the Manitoba Moose.
- C Francis Lemieux recorded his first point in nine games when he earned an assist on Jacques' goal
- D James Sanford had his four-game point streak snapped on Saturday night. Sanford posted two goals and three assists during the streak.
- RW Duncan Milroy scored his first goal in 16 games on Sunday, January 22, in Hamilton's 2-1 loss to the Toronto Marlies.
- C J.J. Hunter played in his first game of the season on Sunday. Hunter had been sidelined with a shoulder injury. It was his first game with the Bulldogs since the 2002-03 playoffs.

- In their last meeting on January 21 at the MTS Centre, Bulldogs forward Jean-Francois Jacques scored his team leading 13th goal of the season, but it wasn't enough as the Moose defeated Hamilton by a score of 4-1.

- Canadiens RW Michael Ryder posted one goal and one assist in Montreal's 6-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.
- Oilers RW Georges Laraque scored his first goal of the season and C Jarret Stoll earned an assist as Edmonton was defeated by Phoenix 4-3 in a shootout.
- Rangers RW Jason Ward scored a goal in New York's 3-2 shootout win over the Boston Bruins.
