
Canadiens recall Plekanec

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that the team has recalled forward Tomas Plekanec from the Hamilton Bulldogs. He was assigned to Hamilton for conditioning purposes on January 20.
Plekanec, 23, appeared in two games for the Bulldogs, going scoreless while collecting two penalty minutes. In 31 games this season for the Canadiens, the native of Kladno, Czech Republic has produced 12 points (four goals, eight assists) and 10 penalty minutes.
The Bulldogs next game will take place on Saturday, January 28, when the Rochester Americans visit Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:00 p.m. This game can be seen live on Hamilton's Cable 14. Tickets are available at Copps Coliseum Box Office (in-person sales only), any Ticketmaster outlet, online at ticketmaster.ca, and at select Sports Obsession locations.
