Individual Tickets For All-Star Game On Sale Now

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder has announced individual tickets for the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light and the ECHL All-Star Skills Competition are on sale now and are available to the general public.

Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Stockton Arena ticket office, by phone at (209) 373-1700 or by visiting www.stocktontickets.com. The 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light will be played at Stockton Arena on Jan. 23 at 7:00 p.m. and the 11th edition of the ECHL All-Star Skills Competition will be held at Stockton Arena on Jan. 22 at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets begin as low as $5 for the skills competition and $10 for the All-Star Game. All seating for the Skills Competition will feature "open-style" general admission for the Lower and Upper Premium levels and End Zone of Stockton Arena. Tickets for the 2008 ECHL Chase Chevrolet All-Star Game and ECHL All-Star Skills Competition are also available by purchasing a 2007-08 Thunder season ticket, mini-plan or All-Star combo package by calling (209) 373-1500.

2008 CHASE CHEVROLET ECHL ALL-STAR GAME

Hosted by the Stockton Thunder and the City of Stockton at Stockton Arena, the economic impact of the All-Star Game is projected to give the city of Stockton an estimated more than $1 million in revenue and will take place in the 9,737-seat Stockton Arena, adjacent to the new seven-story Sheraton Stockton Hotel at Regent Pointe. Stockton is the 13th largest city in California and the 69th largest city in the United States of America.

The Thunder has an ECHL-high six representatives in the ECHL All-Star Game. Defenseman Brad Farynuk, center Ryan O'Marra and left wing Jacob Micflikier were named to the National Conference roster, while Kevin Anderson will serve as trainer for the National Conference and Mark Burgess will serve as equipment manager for the National Conference. Radio play-by-play announcer Mike Benton will serve on the radio broadcast announcing team, with the game produced through NHL Radio and airing nationally on XM Satellite Radio.

The ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, the Thunder has led the ECHL in attendance for two consecutive seasons and drew 244,085 fans to Stockton Arena in 2006-07.
