IceHogs Reassign Wise to Fuel

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, announced Friday that rookie forward Jamie Wise was reassigned to the Fuel following a nearly three-month AHL stint with the IceHogs. A 6'0", 205 lb. right-handed shooting winger and native of Stouffville, Ontario, Wise scored a goal in his first-career AHL game on November 28th and collected three goals, 11 penalty minutes and a -3 rating in 22 appearances for Rockford during his most recent "AAA" assignment. In 15 ECHL appearances for the Fuel this season, Wise has one goal, four points and 12 penalty minutes to his credit.

Prior to his professional career, Wise tallied 29 goals, 59 points and 129 combined penalty minutes in 38 appearances for Toronto's Ryerson University in two OUAA seasons from 2012 to 2014. In parts of three seasons from 2009 to 2012, Wise, 23, collected 38 combined goals, 66 total points and 261 penalty minutes in 142 OHL appearances for the Peterborough Petes and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.

Next up for the Fuel, it's a Friday tilt vs. the Evansville IceMen with the opening faceoff set for 8:15 pm EST at Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
