Game Preview
The Kalamazoo Wings and the Fort Wayne Komets will commence a home-and-home at Allen County Memorial Coliseum. Tonight is the 12th of 15 regular season encounters between the teams. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-6-1-0 against the Komets.
Kalamazoo is wrapping up a four-game road swing. The K-Wings are 2-1-0-0 so far during the trip. With 57 points, the K-Wings start the night in fourth place in the North Division, just one point behind the Cincinnati Cyclones for third place.
Racking up points, the Komets enter tonight on an eight-game (5-0-1-2) unbeaten streak in regulation. With 78 points, the Komets are in first place in the North Division and are tied with the Reading Royals for the most points in the entire Eastern Conference.

Defenseman Sam Ftorek continues to move up the K-Wings all-time games played list. Tonight will be Sam Ftorek's 393rd game as a member of the K-Wings, which places Ftorek past Georges Gagnon (1979-1987) into sixth place on the team's all-time games played list.
Road Block
The K-Wings have won their first two road games in the month of March. The two road wins already surpasses the team's total road wins (1-5-1-0) for the month of February
Reunion This evening will be the Komets season debut of Aaron Clarke. Clarke, who hasn't played this season, was a member of the K-Wings for three seasons (2010-11, 2012-14).
Spending Time at Home Tonight closes out a seven-game home stand for Fort Wayne. All six of the previous games (3-0-1-2) for the Komets have been decided by a single goal.
Keep Them Under Three To have success against the Komets teams better attempt to keep they under three goals. On the season, Fort Wayne is 33-5-0-3 when scoring three or more goals in a game.
