IceHogs announce division semifinals date and opponent

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs, in conjunction with the Texas Stars and the American Hockey League, announced the schedule for the 2010 West Division Semifinal Calder Cup Playoff Series between Rockford and Texas.

The series, which is a best-of-seven, will open on Friday, April 16 at the Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park, Texas at 7:30 p.m. Texas will also host Game Two and if necessary Games Six and Seven.

Rockford will return home for Game Three on Wednesday, April 21 at the Rockford MetroCentre at 7:05 p.m. and Game Four on Friday, April 23 at 7:05 p.m. If necessary Game Five will also take place at the MetroCentre on Saturday, April 24 at 7:05 p.m.

Below is the complete schedule for the IceHogs-Stars West Division Semifinal series:

Game 1 - Fri., April 16 - Rockford at Texas, 7:30 p.m. Game 2 - Sat., April 17 - Rockford at Texas, 7 p.m. Game 3 - Wed., April 21 - Texas at Rockford, 7:05 p.m. Ticket "A" Game 4 - Fri., April 23 - Texas at Rockford, 7:05 p.m. Ticket "B" *Game 5 - Sat., April 24 - Texas at Rockford, 7:05 p.m. Ticket "C" *Game 6 - Mon., April 26 - Rockford at Texas, 7:30 p.m. *Game 7 - Tues., April 27 - Rockford at Texas, 7:30 p.m. *-If Necessary
