
Columbus Assigns Four Players To Crunch

Syracuse, NY (April 10, 2010) - *The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned centers Tomas Kana and Greg Moore, left wing Tom Sestito and right wing Chad Kolarik to the Crunch. All four players are expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Crunch face Rochester in the final game of the 2009-10 season.
Kana, 22, has appeared in 49 games with the Crunch this season, tallying 28 points (15g, 13a) and 45 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in six games this season with Columbus, making his NHL debut on March 30 vs. Tampa Bay and registering his first NHL points with two assists on April 7 at Detroit.
Moore, 26, has appeared in 15 games with the Crunch this season, posting five goals, four assists and 10 penalty minutes. He has also skated in four games with Columbus this year, making his Blue Jackets debut on April 3 vs. Washington.
Sestito, 22, has appeared in 35 games for the Crunch this season, tallying 10 goals, six assists and 138 penalty minutes. In addition, he skated in three game with Columbus earlier this season, tallying seven penalty minutes.
Kolarik, 24, has appeared in 75 combined games for the Crunch and San Antonio this season, recording 26 goals, 24 assists and 55 penalty minutes. In addition, he has skated in two games with Columbus this year, making his NHL debut on April 5 at St. Louis.
