OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 10, 2010) - The Ottawa Senators today recalled defenceman Brian Lee and forward Zack Smith from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .
Lee is being recalled for the fifth time this season and has tallied two goals, one assist and 12 penalty minutes over 22 games with the Senators. In 41 AHL games with Binghamton, the 23-year-old has recorded three goals, 12 assists and 52 penalty minutes.
In 81 career National Hockey League games (all with the Senators), Lee has registered 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) while amassing 49 penalty minutes.
Now on his fourth recall of the season, Smith has recorded two goals and 14 penalty minutes over 14 games with the NHL club. In 68 games with Binghamton, the 22-year-old has collected 14 goals, 27 assists and 100 penalty minutes.
In 15 career NHL games, Smith has scored two goals while adding 14 penalty minutes.
The B-Sens (fifth, East Division, 35-34-6-3, 79 points) next see action tonight, when they host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 p.m.
