Ice Pilots go 2-0-1 this past week: The Pensacola Ice Pilots went 2-0-1 this past week. The Ice Pilots started the week last week picking up a point with a 4-3 shootout loss at Mississippi. The Ice Pilots trailed 3-1 going into the third period only to score two goals in the third. Corey Neilson and Peter Fregoe scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots won at Texas on Thursday night 2-1. Kent Sauer and Aaron Phillips scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Brian Eklund was the winning goalie. The Ice Pilots finished the week with a 3-2 win at Louisiana. Peter Fregoe, Dwayne Hay and Eric Naud scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Brian Eklund was the winning goalie stopping 51 out of 53 shots.

The Ice Pilots have a record of 36-20-9 for 79 points which is good for third place in the Central Division of the Western Conference.

Final Three home Games are March 26th vs. Columbus at 7:05 p.m. March 27th vs. Texas at 7:05 p.m. and March 30th vs. Texas at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots final three home games of the regular season are Friday, March 26th vs. Columbus at 7:05 p.m. It is D.A.R.E. Night. An autograph session with the entire team will take place after the game. Saturday, March 27th vs. Texas is Military Celebration and Baptist Hospital Recognition Night with discounted tickets for the Military. $15 dollar tickets and $13 dollar tickets are $10 for both active and retired military. An IHOP Bunny Toss will take place on Saturday night. Fans are asked to bring a stuffed bunny animal to the game. When the Ice Pilots scored the first goal of the game toss the bunnies onto the ice and the bunnies will be distributed to local children organizations through out the Pensacola area. A jersey auction will take place after the game on the Ice Pilots home and away game jerseys. Fans will be able to receive the jerseys after the season is over. Tuesday, March 30th vs. Texas is Fan and Corporate Appreciation Night as prizes will be given out at the game. It is also College Night. College students can buy one ticket and get one free with college I.D. on any seat location except glass seats. The Ice Pilots have a 7-2-2 record vs. Texas this year including 5-0 at home and 2-2-2 on the road. The Ice Pilots have a record of 3-1 vs. Columbus this year including a record of 2-1 at home and 1-0 on the road.

Ice Pilots in the Community: Dwayne Hay and Brian Eklund will be signing autographs at Sports Avenue on Wednesday, March 24th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The Ice Pilots Fan Club banquet will be held Tuesday night, March 23rd at the Angus. Brian Collins and Peter Fregoe will be talking hockey and signing autographs at the South East Branch Library in Perdido Key this Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. sponsored by NEXTEL. The Ice Pilots will also be visiting local schools this week for the D.A.R.E. Night program for Friday night's game.

Kelly Cup Playoff Strips are available and season tickets for the 2004-2005 season are available by calling the Ice Pilots office at 432-PUCK.

Ice Pilots leaders: Ice Pilots defenseman Corey Neilson leads the team with 72 points and leads the team with 54 assists and is third in the league with his 54 assists. Neilson leads all defenseman in the league in scoring. Neilson is second in the league with 38 power play points and first with 30 power play assists. Brian Eklund is first in the league with 34 wins, 2,036 saves (which is a league record), 3,421 minutes played and is second with 5 shootout wins. Eklund's 34 wins is an Ice Pilots record for most wins by a goalie in a season. Jean Francois Soucy is second among all rookies with 53 minor penalties. Peter Fregoe is second among rookies with 5 shorthanded points and 3 shorthanded goals.

Nominated Player of the Week: Peter Fregoe has been nominated for Player of the Week and Brian Eklund has been nominated for goalie of the week. Eklund is the Ice Pilots Dodge Player of the Week.

Season Ticket Packages are available with year round payments: Full season ticket packages and 16 game packages are available with year round payments. The following is a list of the full season ticket plan with year round payments: $22 seats for floor and glass is $49.99 per month, $15 seats for sides is $35.99 per month, $13 seats for goal and lower upper level is $32.99 per month, $10 seats for upper level is $24.99 per month.

Group Tickets: Group tickets are available at the Ice Pilots office. A group of 15-24 will receive $2 off per ticket and scoreboard recognition. A group of 25-99 will receive $2 off per ticket, scoreboard recognition, the group leader receive two free tickets with a minimum of 25 tickets purchased and group members are eligible to become an MVP. Each group member fills out and MVP card, (Cards are mailed with the group tickets), and drops the card in the MVP box at customer service before the game, and has the opportunity to win a valuable prize! Groups of 100 or more will receive scoreboard recognition, two free tickets, MVP cards plus $3 off per ticket and an opportunity to perform the national anthem or participate in the ceremonial puck drop (Subject to availability and approval).

Birthday Parties: Celebrate your birthday with the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots birthday party package includes hot dogs, cokes, cake and 10 $13 lower goal game tickets, a special gift pack for the birthday person delivered by Iceman, a birthday card signed by the Ice Pilots and scoreboard recognition. Assigned Players from Tampa Bay: The Ice Pilots currently have eight players on the roster assigned from Tampa Bay. They are goalies Brian Eklund, Evgeny Konstantinov and forward Dwayne Hay. Forward Jean Francois Soucy, forward Evgeni Arthukin forward Ryan Craig and defenseman Jeremy Van Hoof and Andreas Holmqvist are also assigned from Tampa. Ryan Craig and Evgeni Artukhin have been called up to Hershey.

Kerr's Kids: This season the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite six children and their escorts to a game. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission, a goodie bag for each child and SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. Accessible seating will be arranged for "Kerr's Kids" in section 105. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on WCOA AM 1370 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue.
