2/24/06 > Long Beach 0 vs. Utah 3
The Ice Dogs lost for only their third time in regulation over the last 20 games, in a 3-0 loss to the Utah Grizzlies. The Ice Dogs had beaten the Grizzlies in the previous four games, though this was the second time this season the Grizzlies shutout the Ice Dogs at home. Mark Scally was in net for Long Beach, making 15 saves in the loss while Alfie Michaud got the 37 shot shutout for Utah. Both teams were scoreless on the power play, with Long Beach going 0-5 and Utah going 0-2.
2/25/06 > Long Beach 4 vs. Phoenix 3
The Ice Dogs won a wild one Saturday night, stealing a win from the Phoenix Roadrunners. Trailing 3-2 with less than five minutes to go in the game, Sean McAslan tied it up before Cory Urquhart scored the game winner with just 49 seconds remaining. Michael Lambert and Christian Larrivee also scored for the Ice Dogs. Mark Scally got the win with 20 saves, while Mike Mole of the Roadrunners took the loss with 32 saves. Long Beach was 2-4 on the power play and held Phoenix scoreless in four opportunities.

The Ice Dogs will make the quick trip down to San Diego on Wednesday to take on the Gulls for their only game this week. The Ice Dogs are 3-1-1 versus the Gulls this season and are only four points behind first place Fresno in the Pacific Division.
