STORM NOTES
- Turing the Ship around! Following a season high 4 game losing streak, Toledo defeated the Reading Royals in back-to-back games (4-3 in a shootout Saturday, and 4-2 Sunday). With the wins, the Storm climbed to within 8 points of the Division leading Royals.
- Shots, Shots, and more Shots! Over the last 8 games, Toledo has out shot opponents 332-197, and is averaging 41.5 per game during that span. That includes the 51 Toledo shot at Reading on Sunday afternoon.
- Power Play! The Storm Power Play broke out Saturday night going 2 for 7. For the season Toledo ranks 16th at 17.5% (60 goals in 342 chances).
- Penalty Kill! The Storm is ranked in the top 10. Overall Toledo has stopped 254 of 303 power play chances against (83.8%).
STORM WATCH
- Storm Coach's Show! The Toledo Storm Coach's Show returns to the airways Tuesday night. Storm defenseman Jason Maleyko will join Head Coach Nick Vitucci and Matt Melzak this week at the Maumee Bay Brewing Company. The show can be heard live on Dominion 1520 JAMZ.
- The Week Ahead! Toledo starts the week with the Trenton Titans, who will be in town Wednesday and Friday. Toledo is 2-2-0 against the Titans this season, including a 4-1 win on November 12th at home and a 5-1 win in Trenton on February 2nd. Bracken Kearns has 4 goals and 2 assists against the Titans this season. Titan forward Scott Bertoli has 3 goals and 2 assists against the Storm. Saturday night, the Storm will welcome in the Greenville Grrrowl for the first time ever in the Sports Arena. The two teams met in Greenville back on December 20th with the Grrrowl collecting a 2-1 win. The Kelly Cup will be on display both Friday and Saturday night at the Toledo Sports Arena. Sunday afternoon the Storm will hit the road for a date in Wheeling. Toledo is 7-3-1 against the Nailers this season. Scooter Smith has 5 goals and 10 assists in the games against the Nailers this season.

Even during the four game skid, Drew lowered his GAA and upped his SVP.
