Royals Notes:

- The Royals went 2-1-1 in the four games played this past week. Reading's record is now 32-14-7=71, which places the Royals in first place in the North Division of the American Conference and translates into a .670 win percentage-which is the fifth best win percentage in the league.

- With the wins in the first two games played this week, the Royals extended the team's win streak to five games.

- The Royals extended the team's unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-1) with the 4-3 shootout loss to the Toledo Storm on Friday night.

- Reading's unbeaten streak was snapped with the team's 4-2 loss to Toledo on Sunday afternoon.

- The Royals have picked up at least one point in fourteen of the last seventeen games (9-3-5).

- In three of the four games played this week, Reading scored the game's first goal-and won two of those games and loss one (4-2 to Toledo on Sunday).

- Over the course of the season, the Royals have compiled a record of 20 - 2 - 5 when scoring the game's first goal.

- Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Trenton Titans marked the second consecutive win for the Royals against the Titans at the Sovereign Center, having defeated Trenton on the previous Sunday, 5-1.

- Cody Rudkowsky was the Royals' goaltender in the 3-1 win over Trenton last Tuesday, marking his fourth consecutive win for the Royals.

- After Tuesday's win over the Titans, Rudkowsky was loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL for the second time this season.

- In the three games prior to his call up to Bridgeport, Rudkowsky had allowed only two goals on 96 shots, a 0.67 goals against average and a .979 save percentage.

- Rudkowsky was the goaltender for the Sound Tigers in their 3-1 win over the Lowell Lock Monsters on Friday, February 24. Rudkowsky made 40 stops on 41 shots in picking up the win in that game. This year in the AHL, Rudkowsky has compiled a record of 5-2-1 with a 2.06 goals against average and a .938 save percentage.

- Rudkowsky was returned to the Royals on Sunday, and he played in Reading's 4-2 loss to the Toledo Storm, stopping 47 of the 51 shots he faced.

- Over the course of the season with the Royals, Rudkowsky has compiled a record of 16-4-3 with a 2.40 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.

- The Royals' first goal in the 3-1 win last Tuesday over Trenton was scored by Doug Christiansen, which was his team leading twenty-fifth goal of the season-eighteen of which came over the span of twenty-seven games up to and including Tuesday's win.

- Reading's game winning goal on Tuesday was scored by Eric Werner, his first gwg of the season.

- Tuesday's game marked the second in a row in which Werner had scored a goal-after going 18 consecutive games without a goal and having scored only one goal in his prior twenty-seven.

- Werner also scored the Royals' second goal in the 4-3 shootout loss to the Toledo Storm on Saturday night.

- Werner is currently riding a seven game personal point streak (3g - 7a = 10pts).

- Malcolm MacMillan scored the Royals' third goal in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Trenton, marking his eighth goal of the season-and seven of those goals were scored over a span of fourteen games leading up to and including Tuesday's win.

- The Royals' 1-0 win over the Dayton Bombers last Friday marked the second time in less than a week that Reading beat the Bombers by a score of 1-0, and it was the third shutout of the season for the Royals.

- Yutaka Fukufuji was the Royals' goaltender in the 1-0 win over Dayton last Friday, as he stopped all 21 shots he faced to pick up his first shutout as a member of the Royals and his fourth shutout as a pro.

- Fukufuji was also the goaltender of record in the Royals 4-3 shootout loss to Toledo on Saturday night, stopping 42 of the 45 shots he faced through regulation and overtime.

- Fukufuji also stopped three of the four shots he faced in a losing effort in the shootout on Saturday night, marking his second loss in the shootout in two tries this season. (His other shootout loss was in Wheeling to the Nailers on October 28, when he stopped four of the seven shots he faced in the shootout.)

- The lone goal in the Royals' 1-0 win over Dayton last Friday was scored by Dany Roussin, his twenty-first of the season.

- Roussin also picked up two assists in the Royals' 4-3 shootout loss to Toledo on Saturday, marking his eleventh multi-point game of the year for the Royals.

- The Royals' first goal in the 4-3 shootout loss to Toledo on Saturday was scored by Shay Stephenson, his fourteenth goal of the season and his first in nine games leading up to Saturday.

- Reading's third goal on Saturday was scored by Reagan Rome while the Royals were on the power play and was the fourth goal of the season for Rome-all four of which have been scored on the power play.

- Saturday's goal extended Rome's personal point streak to four games (1g -3a = 4pts), a streak that was snapped in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Toledo.

- Saturday's game marked the fifth time this season that Reading has gone to the shootout to resolve matters, and the Royals have compiled a 1-4 record in those shootouts.

- In Saturday's game, the Royals' shooters were blanked in their five attempts in the shootout. Over the course of the season, Reading shooters have scored eight times in twenty-five attempts, while the opponents have scored on eleven of their twenty-four attempts.

- Grant Jacobsen scored the Royals' first goal-the first of the game-in Reading's 4-2 loss on Sunday, while the Royals' were playing a man short, marking Jacobsen's first short-handed goal as a pro and the fifth point this season that Jacobsen has picked up while the Royals were short-handed (1g -4a = 5pts). (His four short-handed assists is tied for the league lead in that category.)

- Jacobsen's short-handed goal on Sunday was the fourteenth of the season for the Royals-which places the team second in the league in that category.

- Larry Courville scored Reading's second goal in the 4-2 loss on Sunday, marking his first goal in his last twenty-three games.

- The Royals' loss on Sunday to the Toledo Storm dropped Reading's record to 1-6-0 on Sundays this season.

- Over the course of the week, the Royals scored four power play goals in twenty-three chances with the man advantage.

- In the last twelve games, Reading has scored thirteen power play goals in sixty-one chances, a 21.3% scoring ratio.

- Over the course of the season, the Royals have scored 61 power play goals in 281 chances a 22.3% scoring ratio, which ranks the Royals third in the ECHL in that category.

- Over the course of the week, the Royals allowed four power play goals against in twenty-eight opportunities for the opposition with the power play.

- In the last fifteen games, Reading has killed off 95 of the 108 power play chances against, a 88.0% kill ratio.

- Over the course of the season, the Royals have allowed 53 power play goals against in 356 chances for the opponents, which is a 84.7% kill ratio, ranking the team sixth in the league in that category.
