Idaho Steelheads News Release

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads are on the home stretch...literally, playing their remaining nine home games of the season this month. Beginning Wednesday night, the Steelheads will host the Phoenix RoadRunners for a three-game series marking their southern rival's first-ever visit to Boise.

And, as far as first appearances go...fan favorite Jeremy Yablonski will appear in a Steelheads' sweater at Qwest Arena Wednesday night for the first time since the 2001-02 season. The 6-1, 235-pound right wing was recently reassigned to the ECHL team by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wednesday's game is also the kick off to "Pink in the Rink" week at Qwest Arena when the Steelheads will don one-of-a-kind pink jerseys to be auctioned off for breast cancer care and treatment benefiting St. Luke's Regional Medical Center's Mountain States Tumor Institute.
