Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
Last Weeks Highlights:
No Games Played
11/2/04 > Long Beach 1 @ Las Vegas 0
The Ice Dogs traveled to Las Vegas for their first road game of the season and skated away with a 1-0 victory behind another stellar performance by goalie Chris Madden. Madden stopped all 37 shots he faced en route to his league leading 2nd shutout of the season in 3 games played. Marco Rosa extended his point streak to 4 games, as he got the games' lone goal in the second period. It is the second straight time Long Beach has defeated Las Vegas this season.
11/5/04 > Long Beach 2 vs. Florida 3
Returning home against Florida, the Ice Dogs came up short Friday night, falling 3-2 on a fluke goal in the third period. Chris Madden made 40 saves, and Trevor Read and Chris Kenady both scored for Long Beach. It was the second loss of the season for the Ice Dogs.
11/6/04 > Long Beach 4 vs. Florida 1
The Ice Dogs avenged the previous nights' loss to Florida with a 4-1 victory on Saturday night. Chris Madden again appeared to stand on his head, making 45 saves to give Long Beach their 4th win of the young season. Cory Urquhart scored his first professional goal and added an empty netter in the third to help seal the win. Trevor Read and Marco Rosa also scored for Long Beach.
