Sacramento River Cats News Release
Des Moines â The Sacramento River Cats were shut out for the 4th time of the season on Tuesday, falling to the Iowa Cubs, 2-0, at Principal Park. The River Cats matched a season low with only 3 hits on the day and wasted a quality pitching performance from starter Ryan Glynn, who drops to 1-1 on the season with the loss. The Cats offense managed only one base-runner in the game's final 6 innings, a 7th inning single by shortstop Mike Rouse. Sacramento and Iowa square off again tomorrow, when RHP Britt Reames (3-2, 3.43) takes the mound for Sacramento against a starter TBD for Iowa.
