RedHawks rout Sky Sox, 11-1

The RedHawks thumped the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 11-1, with Marshall McDougall's two homers and four RBIs leading the charge in Oklahoma on Monday night.

Ricardo Rodriguez (5-3) stifled the Sky Sox over eight innings, yielding one run on eight hits.

Oklahoma reeled off 11 unanswered runs after Jorge Piedra's solo homer in the first inning. Piedra led the Sky Sox with three hits.

McDougall doubled in two runs off Justin Hampson (0-4) in the third inning and hit solo homers in the fifth and eighth innings.

The RedHawks continued the onslaught against the Colorado Springs bullpen as Ian Kinsler followed with a two-run double in the sixth. In the seventh, Adrian Gonzalez and Cody Ransom each singled in a run. Gonzalez closed a four-run eighth with a two-run single.

Rodriguez has been dominant in his last three home starts at SBC Bricktown Ballpark, yielding only two earned runs in 24 innings.

McDougall's last multiple-homer game with the RedHawks came on May 28, 2004.

McDougall is batting .314 after his 3-for-5 performance. Gonzalez also had three hits.
