Huxley Added as Late Edition to All-Star Team

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, defending Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL'2 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, announced that two-year Reign defensemen Chris Huxley has been added to the All-Star roster as a starter.

Huxley, 25, is the Reign's leading defenseman with 24 points in 39 games; scoring four goals and assisting on 20 with a plus-minus rating of +13. He is ranked second in defenseman scoring on the ECHL's active roster. The Weymouth, MA native is currently on a three-game assist streak with the Reign.

In his rookie season with Ontario, Huxley led the defense with a career-high 35 points (6g, 29a) and a +9. He also recorded 109 penalty minutes, more than ever before.

The 5-foot-11, 202-pound blueliner was a co-captain at Harvard University during his Senior year of a four-year collegiate career. While with Harvard he scored seven goals and earned 35 assists for a total of 42 points in 119 games.

Huxley will join Reign teammate C.J. Stretch in Loveland, CO for the All-Star Game and All-Star Skills Competition.
