Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Ontario, Calif. - The Las Vegas Wranglers dropped a 4-1 game to the Ontario Reign tonight, wrapping up a three-game road series with a 2-1-0 record.

Reign left wing Colton Yellow Horn scored the first goal of the night midway through the first period, and was backed up by a power play goal from forward Brodie Sheahan five minutes into the second. In the final two minutes of the period, Reign center C.J. Stretch tallied his twentieth of the season to put the Wranglers in a three-goal hole.

The 3-0 score was broken when Wranglers center Chris Francis recorded a goal 6:45 into the third. Ontario was quick to respond, though, and a second goal from Stretch made it a 4-1 game. Francis was awarded a penalty shot moments later, but Reign goaltender Drew O'Connell followed through and kept Las Vegas down three goal for the 4-1 victory.

The Wranglers return home on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 7:05 p.m. to play the Colorado Eagles in the team's 10th "FANniversary" game. The Wranglers will wear specialty jerseys featuring photos of 10-year season ticket holders, presented by Diamondback Land Surveying, and proceeds from the live concourse auction will benefit the Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC.

Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes. Groups of ten or more can sit together starting at $13 per ticket, and feature perks such as in-game group recognition and "buy one, get one free" Chuck-A-Puck vouchers. Take advantage of the best deals by calling the Wranglers front office at (702) 471-PUCK . The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.
