
Mike Marcou Named Starter in ECHL All-Star Game

Greenville, SC: Today the Greenville Road Warriors announced rookie defenseman Mike Marcou will be starting in the 25th ECHL All-Star game hosted by the Colorado Eagles on Wednesday, January 23rd.
Marcou, 23, has scored four goals and added 12 assists in 38 games with the Road Warriors this season. His 16 points lead all Road Warriors' defensemen. The Kings Park, New York native has a +15 rating that ranks him tied for third among rookies in the ECHL. Marcou recorded a season high three points on December 11th against South Carolina with a goal and two assists. The U-Mass Amherst product has three powerplay goals which is third most on the team behind only Marc-Olivier Vallerand and Shayne Wiebe.
