GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Gwinnett Gladiators dropped their third straight game Thursday night in Greenville, 5-1 to the Road Warriors.

Rangers prospect Scott Stajcer stopped 37 shots for the Warriors, and Bretton Cameron had a hat trick for the home side. Louis Domingue made 26 saves in a losing cause but received little support.

A shorthanded goal just 1:50 into the game by Cameron put Greenville up 1-0, and Jeremy Gouchie's tally at 13:16 put the score at 2-0 through one period.

The Road Warriors added to their lead at 4:21 of the second, as Cameron cashed in on a fantastic passing sequence for his second goal of the night.

Gwinnett answered with a shorthanded goal of its own. Marietta native Doug Jones tapped in rebound off a Casey Pierro-Zabotel drive to the net front, and the Gladiators trailed 3-1. Justin Weller picked up the second assist.

Greenville capped the period with a power play goal 69 seconds after Jones' tally. Brendan Connolly gunned a centering past by Domingue for a 4-1 Greenville lead through two periods.

Greenville added insult to injury in the third as Cameron completed the hat trick at 16:33 for a 5-1 final.

The Gladiators are back at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Friday, as they host the Florida Everblades at 7:35 p.m.
