Hensick to Wear the C

Toledo Walleye News Release
Veteran T.J. Hensick will serve as team captain for the 2019-20 season, while Shane Berschbach will serve as alternate captain.
Hensick returns for a second season with Toledo. He played in 47 games with Toledo during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring 17 goals with 41 assists before getting called up to San Jose of the AHL.
Berschbach returns for a sixth season with Toledo. He is the all-time Toledo Walleye leader in games played (320), assists (234) and points (330 points), and second all-time in goals (96).
Hensick becomes the sixth captain in Toledo Walleye history, following Ryan Stokes, Randy Rowe, Kyle Rogers, Jared Nightingale and Alden Hirschfeld.
The Toledo Walleye begin the 2019-20 season on Saturday at Brampton, with Opening Weekend at the Huntington Center on Saturday, November 2 vs. Florida and Sunday, November 3 against Fort Wayne.
