Heidt Promoted Among Lugnuts Roster Moves

Lansing Lugnuts News Release


LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts announce the following roster moves: infielder Gunnar Heidt has been promoted to A-Advanced Dunedin; pitcher Jon Harris is reinstated from the 7-day Disabled List; pitcher Patrick Murphy is placed on the Temporarily Inactive List; infielder John La Prise and pitcher Danny Young are received from Extended Spring Training; and pitcher Dan Lietz is transferred to Short-Season A Vancouver.

With the dust settling, the Lugnuts' roster rests at 25 active players with four players on the Disabled List and one player on the Temporarily Inactive List.

Lansing opens a seven-day, nine-game homestand tonight with a doubleheader against the Great Lakes Loons beginning at 5:35 p.m. Pitcher Jordan Romano will start Game 1 for the Lugnuts in his Midwest League debut, with right-hander Jon Harris heading to the mound for Game 2.
