SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand schedule which includes a visit from Betsy Jochum, one of the original 60 members of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Jochum was an outfielder and pitcher for the South Bend Blue Sox from 1943 to 1948.
All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.
Thursday, June 16 vs. Lake County Captains, 7:05 p.m.
Gates open at 6 p.m.
Game to honor the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Betsy Jochum, former outfielder and pitcher for the South Bend Blue Sox, will attend the game.
Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 domestic 16-ounce draft beer and regular 22-ounce fountain sodas all game long.
Friday, June 17 vs. Lake County Captains, 7:35 p.m.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Indiana Donor Night: A night to bring awareness to the mission of the Indiana Donor Network to save and enhance the quality of life through organ, tissue and eye donation and transplantation.
Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game.
Saturday, June 18 vs Lake County Captains, 7:05 p.m.
Gates open at 5 p.m.
Jimmy Buffett Night: Special pre-game concert by J.T. Buffet
Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV.
Sunday, June 19 vs. Lake County Captains, 2:05 p.m.
Gates open at noon
Pint Glass Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a South Bend Cubs pint glass.
Sunday Funday, Kids Club Day: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session.
