INF Chase Headley has been promoted from Eugene to Fort Wayne.
OF Drew Davidson has been placed on the DL, retroactive to Sunday, August 28.
Headley was the second round selection by the San Diego Padres in this year's draft, from the University of Tennessee. He is the tenth member of the 2005 draft class to join Fort Wayne. He is the fourth member of an SEC school to join the Wizards. He was also a teammate of current OF Josh Alley at Tennessee, who reached the 2005 NCAA College World Series.
