
Hartford Yard Goats to Air on IHeartMedia's News Talk 1410 AM

HARTFORD, Conn - The Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, announced that all 142 games (home and away) will be broadcast live on News Talk 1410AM (WPOP) and available for fans to listen on iHeartRadio. News Talk 1410AM will serve as the Yard Goats flagship station over the next three seasons through 2018.
The partnership with iHeartMedia will also give the Yard Goats a promotional platform on the entire Hartford-based family of stations, including The River 105.9, Country 92.5, ESPN Radio 97.9 and Kiss 95.7. iHeartMedia will receive signage at Dunkin' Donuts Park, and will have talent from all four stations onsite during each season.

Veteran broadcaster Jeff Dooley will be the "Voice of the Yard Goats" and lead play-by-play announcer for the games. Dooley will host the pregame and post-game shows and connect fans to the Yard Goats players with interviews, features and highlights. Dooley will also provide inside information from the clubhouse on the Yard Goats social media platforms.
The Harford Yard Goats will begin their inaugural season in April of 2016 at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Downtown Hartford. The new state-of-the-art ballpark will be located at the intersection of Main Street and Trumbull Street.
