
Hall 5 RBI game leads Pigs to win over RailRiders

(Allentown, Pa) - Darick Hall put together quite a performance on Sunday afternoon as he recorded five RBI in the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (45-55) 10-5 win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (59-39). Hall went 2-for-5 with a grand slam, two runs scored, and one walk.
Hall brought in his first RBI as he walked with the bases loaded to give the Pigs' a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. The Pigs added six more runs in the bottom of the second inning when Tyler Heineman scored on a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded and Adam Haseley scored on a bases loaded walk by Matt Vierling. Hall hit a grand slam against Brody Koerner, his second grand slam of the season.
The RailRiders scored two runs in the top of the fifth inning against David Paulino to cut the Pigs lead to 7-2. Lehigh Valley answered with three more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning against Luis Gil to take a 10-2 lead. Cornelius Randolph, T.J. Rivera, and Tyler Heineman all hit RBI singles in the inning.
Seranthony Dominguez made a Good Shephard Rehab appearance and allowed three runs through 2/3 of an inning in the top of the seventh inning. Austin Ross (1-0) earned his first triple-A win as Nick Nelson (2-3) took the loss for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
The IronPigs are off on Monday before returning to action on Tuesday at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch against the Syracuse Mets is at 7:05 p.m.
