LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves will host the Norfolk Tides, the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, for a key four-game series at Coolray Field from August 27-30. The G-Braves trail the Tides for first place in the International League South Division by 3.0 games.
The series opens on Thursday, August 27 with a "Coolray Triple Play" ticket offer for the 6:35 p.m. game. The final "Fireworks Friday" of the season is set for Friday, August 28, with post-game fireworks following the 7:05 p.m. game.
The first 2,000 fans in attendance for the 7:05 p.m. game on Saturday, August 29, will receive a bobblehead of 2015 Hall of Fame inductee and legendary Atlanta Braves' pitcher John Smoltz, presented by Gwinnett Medical Center. Smoltz will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch that night.
The series concludes with a 2:05 p.m. game on Sunday, August 30 that features "Sunday Funday" activities such as Pre-Game Catch on the Field and Post-Game Kids Run the Bases, courtesy of Belhaven University. The afternoon will also include a post-game concert by Mountain Faith Band, a bluegrass group that is a contestant on the current season of "America's Got Talent."

§ Pre-Game Catch on the Field - To kick off every Sunday Funday, bring your ball and glove to Coolray Field for a pre-game catch in the outfield! The 20-minute catch starts when the gates open at 1 p.m.
§ Post-Game Kids Run the Bases - Bring the youngsters down and let them loose on the base paths after the game, courtesy of Belhaven University. Children must be 12 and under to participate.
§ Post-Game Concert - Catch Mountain Faith Band, a bluegrass band and current "America's Got Talent" contestant, for a performance after the game on the concourse at Coolray Field!
