The Bulls play the opener of a brief two-game set against the Norfolk Tides at Harbor Park. Durham is coming off a 5-0 homestand against Toledo (3-0) and Columbus (2-0), but is still just 17-23 since the All-Star break. The Bulls have dropped 39 of their previous 64 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 9.5-game deficit. Norfolk - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - is 1-5 over its last six after losing four straight from 8/19-8/22. The Tides are 11-13 in August, but still lead the IL South by 3.0 games over Gwinnett.
