Grrrowl Add Defense in Trade, Kirton on Injured Reserve

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced a trade that brings defenseman RANDY DAGENAIS (D) from the Gwinnett Gladiators to Greenville, in exchange for financial considerations. In other transactions, SCOTT KIRTON (F) has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve list as of Monday November 10, 2003.
RANDY DAGENAIS (6-0, 200lbs., defenseman) played in 5 games in his rookie season with the Gladiators and recorded 6 penalty minutes. He is a native of Valrita, ONT and played for four seasons at Union College. He will be in the lineup on Friday night as the Grrrowl host the Greensboro Generals at the BI-LO Center, for a 7:05pm start.
KIRTON received a couple of injuries during a game at Columbia last Friday night, and will miss the games this weekend at the BI-LO Center.
