Time Changed for Thanksgiving Game

BILOXI, Miss. – Mississippi Sea Wolves Professional Hockey announced today that the puck will drop at 7:35 p.m. on the Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27 game against the Columbus Cottonmouths at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, rather than the usual 6:05 p.m. start time for Thursday home games.

"It's going to be a perfect end to a perfect day," said Mississippi President Bo McMurphy. "We want to accommodate everyone for their Thanksgiving meals and activities during the day. It's going to be a great way to wrap up a great day, with a Sea Wolves game against division rival Columbus."

Mississippi continues its six-game road trip at 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday, against the Florence Pride at the Florence County-City Civic Center in South Carolina. Listen live on ESPN Radio WXBD-AM 1490 beginning with the Nextel Pregame Show at 6:15 p.m. and online at www.msseawolves.com.

The Sea Wolves next home game is on Sunday, November 23 at 4:05 p.m. against the Texas Wildcatters at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game promotions include the "Party Four-Pack" consisting of four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks, starting at only $44. It's also the 3rd annual Nextel/Sea Wolves Howl Against Hunger. The first 3,000 fans that bring canned goods or non-perishables for the Back Bay Mission, will receive a "Howl Towel."
