Atlantic City, NJ – Goaltender Cory Campbell made 23 saves for his first professional shutout as the Johnstown Chiefs downed the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 2-0 in ECHL action on Wednesday.

While neither team was able to score in the first period, Johnstown converted early in the second when Shawn Mather found Bullies goaltender Scott Stirling down on the ice and slapped the puck above his shoulder at 1:00 of the period for a 1-0 lead. Campbell continued to frustrate the Bullies in the third period, and Jay Notterman capped the scoring for the Chiefs with an empty-net goal at 19:22 to make the final score 2-0.

The Bullies return to Boardwalk Hall on Friday, November 14, to take on the Las Vegas Wranglers. Friday is Casino/Military night at Boardwalk Hall. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
