Grizzlies To Visit VA Hospital

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies forwards Brandon Tidball and Blake Robson along with the team's mascot Grizzbee will be visiting veterans at Salt Lake's VA Medical Center Tuesday, February 13 at 2 p.m.

The visit is in honor of a national salute to hospitalized veterans taking place this week.

"We are excited to be visiting these very courageous people," said Adrian Denny the team's Director of Community Relations. "Their service to our country will always be remembered."

The VA Medical Center is located at 500 South Foothill Drive in Salt Lake City.

The Grizzlies return to action Wednesday, Friday and Saturday hosting Fresno at the E-Center. Face-offs all nights are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, are in their second season in America's "Premier AA Hockey League." There were 23 former Utah Grizzlies players on NHL rosters at the start of the 2006-2007 season. The Grizzlies are owned and operated by the Elmore Sports Group and play at the E-Center of West Valley City, which hosted hockey during the 2002 Winter Olympics.
