
Condors Fly Through Thunder and Storm To Go Perfect on Week

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Condors wouldn't let the Toledo Storm rain on their parade winning, 4-3, and took the boom out of Stockton Thunder, 2-1, as they swept a pair of games last week. Even though the Condors went undefeated last week, they actually fell out of first place in the Pacific Division, as Las Vegas played an extra game to take a two-point lead in the standings. The Condors will be at The Nest this week for the final three games of their five-game homestand and can move back into first place tonight with a win.
The Condors are 28-12-5 on the season, including 16-7-1 at The Nest, where they'll be for the next three games.
The Condors take on the Fresno Falcons at home tonight and face-off against the Long Beach Ice Dogs Friday, Feb. 16th and Saturday, Feb. 17th. For tonight and Friday, doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m. On Saturday, fans can come to the game early and watch the Hockey-Thon Celebrity Game with their ticket to the Condors vs. Long Beach game. Doors for the Celebrity Game open at 4:45 p.m., puck drops at 5 p.m.

Tyler Scott scored the game-winner with 1:15 left to give the Condors their fourth straight win and keep the team in first place in the Pacific Division. Alexandre Bolduc had three assists in his first game back with the team since his re- assignment from the AHL's Manitoba Moose. Sean Venedam, Rane Carnegie and Andrew Ianiero also scored to help lead the Condors to victory.
Friday, Feb. 9:
CONDORS 2 vs Stockton 1 (Attendance: 6,876)
Tyler Scott scored his second game-winning goal in as many outings to beat the Stockton Thunder in overtime. The Condors jumped out first when Alexandre Bolduc scored at 16:40 in the second off a feed from Reagan Leslie and Andrew Ianiero. Stockton fired back with just under 3:30 to play to send the game into overtime. Jamie Hodson stopped 37 of the 38 shots the Thunder threw at him.
PLAYER NOTES:
Josh Liebenow leads the team and the ECHL with six game-winning goals.
Brett Lutes leads the team with 21 goals
Kevin St. Jacques and Sean Venedam are tied for the team lead with 48 points
Jamie Hodson has now won four straight games, is 10-1-1 in his last 12 outings and 22-5-3 overall.

The Condors are back in The Nest tonight for a game against the Fresno Falcons, as KERN 1410 AM presents President's Day Poster Giveaway, with all fans receiving a poster of Mount Condor, featuring Mike Hofstrand, Kevin St. Jacques, Kevin Truelson and Sean Venedam. As well, KERN 1410 AM will have a live remote on Rabobank Plaza before the game, and fans that come dressed as Abraham Lincoln will receive four tickets to the game, and they can enter the Lincoln Look-Alike Contest conducted during the first intermission with a chance to win cool prizes.
Friday, Feb. 16th, KERI 1180 am and Island Style present Christian recording artist ever stays red, who will perform inside the arena during the 2nd intermission and after the game. PLUS, your favorite Veggie Tales, Bob and Larry, will be at The Nest to meet the fans and pose for photos.
Saturday, Feb. 17th Bright House Networks, KUZZ 107.9 and Grand Island Pools present The Third Annual Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon to take place on Friday, Feb. 16th and Saturday, Feb. 17th. The Hockey-Thon Celebrity Game will take place at 5 p.m. at Rabobank Arena prior to the Condors home game at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Celebrity Game will include former Condors and Fog players Paul Rosebush, Glen Mears, Quinn Fair, Jamie Cooke, Brian McCarthy, and more! Doors open at 4:45 p.m. and fans receive free admission with their Condors game ticket!
