LAST WEEK: Fresno went 0-3-0 last week, dropping a pair of games in Alaska and a home game against Las Vegas. The Falcons are 24-18-4 on the season for 52 points and are in third place of the Pacific Division.

Tuesday, February 6 @ Alaska Aces 4 FALCONS 0

Alaska scored three times in a 3:44 span in the first period and went to a 4-0 win at Sullivan Arena. Scott Stirling turned aside 38 of 42 Aces' shots in the contest.

Wednesday, February 7 @ Alaska Aces 3 FALCONS 1

Alaska took an early lead courtesy of a Peter Metcalf power-play goal 3:37 into the first period. The Falcons tied the score on John Morlang's team-leading 17th goal of the season at 8:52. It remained ited until early in the third period when Olivier Filion notched a power-play goal. Mike Scott set the final with an empty-net goal with 40 seconds remaining.

Friday, February 9 vs. Las Vegas Wranglers 3 FALCONS 2

Las Vegas struck early as Chris Neiszner slid a rebound home just 2:08 into the contest. Fresno struck back to tie the score on Brett Hammond's second goal of the season at 10:28. The tie was short lived however as the Wranglers went back on top just 54 seconds later. Aaron Power extended the Las Vegas lead to two goals 15:27 into the second period. Lucas Lawson's first goal in a Falcons's sweater at 18:17 of the second period made it a one-goal game heading into the final 20 minutes, but that was as close as the Falcons would get.

Monday, February 12 @ Bakersfield 7:00 p.m.

The Falcons open a four-game road trip tonight against the Condors. Fresno is 1-2-2 overall against Bakersfield this season and is 0-2-1 at Rabobank Arena. The Condors are in second place of the Pacific Division with an overall record of 28-12-5 for 61 points.

Saturday, February 17 @ Utah 6:05 p.m. PT

The Falcons head to Utah for a three-game series against the Grizzlies. Fresno is 2-2-0 against Utah this season, with all four games taking place at Save Mart Center. The Grizzlies are 18-26-4 for 40 points and are in fifth place of the West Division.

- Since their 11-game unbeaten streak ended on January 12, the Falcons have gone just 3-9-2 in their last 14 games.

Each broadcast begins 15 minutes prior to face-off with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Falcons games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. FALCONS RETURN HOME FOR PRESIDENT'S DAY MATINEE NEXT MONDAY

The Falcons return to Save Mart Center on Monday, February 19 hosting the Bakersfield Condors in a President's Day matinee with a special starting time of 1:00 p.m. with the doors opening at 12 noon. Silver seats are only $7 and gold seats are just $8.50. Following the game, join the Falcons for a post-game celebration at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. The Falcons players will be taking the bus to Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino after the President's Day game for dinner and some gaming. The bus ride is free for season ticket holders and $25 for non season ticket holders. (Includes a buffet dinner, must be 21 to participate)

PUCKS AND PASTA ON FEBRUARY 22

The Falcons will be raising money for the American Heart Association with the Inaugural Falcons Pucks and Pasta Dinner, Thursday, February 22, at 6:00 p.m. at Pardini's on West Shaw (Dinner starts at 7pm). A pasta dinner will be served by the Falcons, who will be wearing special red aprons with their names and numbers on them to be auctioned off at the dinner. The cost for the dinner is only $30 and includes a Red Souvenir "Pucks and Pasta Puck", and the chance to bid on the aprons. There will be a silent auction at the event as well. Tickets are on sale at the Falcons office by calling 485-PUCK!
