This Week in Condorstown:

Monday, February 12th: The Condors will take on the Falcons as 29 Eyewitness News and SC Architect present another Condors Classroom Champions game. All students at Castle, Loudon and Planz Elementary, who have excellent attendance, will receive free admission. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, February 13th: The 7th Annual Tip-A-Condor Charity Dinner, presented by 107.9 KUZZ, will take place at Buck Owens Crystal Palace and benefit the Kern County Shrine Club. Condors players will trade in their skates for aprons and try their hand at serving food for "tips," and be available for singing and dancing upon request. During the evening there will be live and silent auctions to bid on items such as an all expenses paid trip to Utah on March 9th and 10th for the Condors vs. Grizzlies games, a Connor James signed L.A. Kings poster, dinner for four at Crystal Palace with a Condors player, Condors player collages and much more! Tickets are still on sale, $25 for adults and $15 for children under 10, at all Condors home games, in the Condors office and at the Crystal Palace box office. Doors open at 5 p.m. and seating is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. Call 324-PUCK (7825) for more information.

Thursday, February 15th: The Big 96.5 KBKO with Kenn and Jenn in the Morning will feature Condors player, Andrew Ianiero for another exciting edition of "Ask a Condor" at 7:30 a.m. One lucky fan who has their question answered by Ianiero will receive tickets to an upcoming game. Thursday, February 15th: Condors player Rane Carnegie will be a guest on 107.9 KUZZ to discuss the team's battle to get back on top. Time to be announced.

Thursday, February 15th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will visit the Neighborhood Place, a community learning center for kids, at 9 a.m., to help tie education to hockey and get kids excited about coming to a Condors game.

Thursday, February 15th: Don't miss the Condors Coach's Show, Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Q Street Lounge located inside the Holiday Inn Select at 801 Truxtun Ave. See and meet Condors players Scott Borders and Todd Griffith as they'll join Head Coach Marty Raymond and Voice of the Condors Jake Stevens to talk about their efforts to have continuous success on and off the ice. The Condors Coach's Show can also be heard on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230 at 6 p.m.

Friday, February 16th: The Condors will battle the Ice Dogs as KERI 1180 AM and Island Style present Christian recording artist Ever Stays Red and the Veggie Tales. The Veggie Tales will be available for photos during intermissions and Ever Stays Red will perform during the 2nd intermission and after the game. Following the Christian concert, the Condors will kick- off the Hockey-Thon at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center at 11 p.m. and it will continue through the night. Condors team owner Jonathan Fleisig pledged to donate $50 for every sign-up. Currently there are 83 skaters, so he is already committed to contributing $4,150 on behalf of "Links for Life." Saturday, February 17th: The Condors present the 3rd Annual Fighting Cancer Hockey- Thon to benefit "Links for Life" a local breast cancer resource center, courtesy of Grand Island Pools, 107.9 KUZZ and Bright House Networks. Organized by former Condors player Kevin Barrett, the Hockey-Thon will be a fun-filled 27 hours of hockey and include hockey players of all ages and skill levels. Entry requires a pledge of $200 and in return participants will receive a commemorative jersey and two tickets to the Condors game at 7 p.m. But that's not all! Don't miss the Celebrity Game at 5 p.m. directly preceding the Condors game, which will feature former Condors players Paul Rosebush, Glen Mears, Paul Willett, Scott Hay, Quinn Fair, Al Murphy, Brian McCarthy and more! Week In Review:

Monday, February 5th: Condors players Alex Rogosheske, Tyler Liebel and Kevin Truelson read to students at Valley Elementary School.

Wednesday, February 7th: The Condors presented the Adult Literacy Council Book Collection, bringing in nearly 250 books. Fans received admission for $1.00 by bringing in a new of gently used children's book. The Adult Literacy Council helps to improve reading and comprehension for people of all ages and skill levels.

Thursday, February 8th: Condors players Brett Lutes and Kevin Truelson visited students at the Sylvan Learning Center.

Baby Cal and Colonel Claw'd are looking for kids to join the coolest club in Condorstown for only $20. Membership includes a Kid's Club T-shirt, free admission to two games, membership card, and entry into the Kids Club party with Condors players and exclusive gifts provided by the Bakersfield Californian, Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Bank.

It's Party Time!
