Las Vegas, Nevada - The Utah Grizzlies (5-2-1-0) defeated the Las Vegas Wranglers 3-2 in overtime Friday night at Orleans Arena.

Nick Tuzzolino fired a power-play shot through traffic off of a face-off 1:20 into overtime to give Utah the win. It was Tuzzolino's first point with Utah after being acquired in a trade last week from Wheeling.

The Grizzlies trailed 1-0 at the first intermission before taking over with two goals in 40 seconds, both scored by Paul Crowder (2,3) at 7:37 and 8:17 of the second period.

"I thought we played a hardnosed road game for the first 40 minutes," said Grizzlies Head Coach Kevin Colley. "We looked a little fatigued in the third period and had some mental breakdowns, but our power-play came through and got us a timely goal in overtime."

Goaltender Andrew Engelage stopped 25 of 27 shots, including 23-straight, after Las Vegas went up 1-0 10:23 into the first period on their second shot of the night. The Wranglers tied the game with 6:10 left in regulation on an odd-man rush. Engelage improved to 3-1 in the win.

In a rare three-on-three situation to start overtime following late minors in regulation, Brad Snetsinger drew a hooking penalty just 10 seconds into overtime to put Utah on the advantage.

The Grizzlies play game five of their eight-game road trip Saturday in Las Vegas. Face-off is scheduled for 8:05 p.m.

Utah returns home Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20 to host the Alaska Aces at Maverik Center. Friday is Maverik night. All tickets are $5 for fans presenting a receipt from Maverik at the arena box office. Fans who present military identification Saturday will receive a $5 game ticket as well.
