Greenville Grrrowl News Release
GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced the Captain and Assistant Captains for the 2004-05 season. All three players have strong leadership experience, and will lead the Grrrowl into the season opener tonight at the BI-LO Center against the Charlotte Checkers. The positions were voted on by the players and approved by Coach John Marks following a team meeting on Thursday.
COLIN PEPPERALL will wear the "C" for the Grrrowl this season. Pepperall returns to Greenville after a two-year absence, and has exhibited strong leadership skills over his seven professional seasons. He was a part of the Kelly Cup Championship season with Greenville in 2001-02.
