
Checkers to broadcast away games on FREE TEAMLINE

CHARLOTTE, NC âAll Charlotte Checkers road games during the 2004-05 season will be broadcast through FREE TEAMLINE. Fans can listen to the broadcasts through the Internet or over the phone.
1. To listen to the Checkers through the Internet, log on to the Checkers web site at www.gocheckers.com and then click on the TEAMLINE logo.
2. To listen to the Checkers road game broadcasts on the phone, call 1-800-846-4700 (TOLL FREE IN THE UNITED STATES & CANADA) to get to TEAMLINE. After dialing the toll-free number listed above, enter the Charlotte Checkers TEAM CODE of 2820. Fans will be directly connected to the broadcast. The very first time a fan calls in, they will be prompted to enter their telephone number. This only needs to be done once. After that, every time they call in they will be transferred right to the Checkers broadcast. Keep in mind that if a fan is calling from the United States and Canada, there are no long distance or roaming charges. If fans are calling from a cell phone, minutes will be deducted from their plan.
Whether you follow the Checkers road games on the web or on the phone, both options are completely FREE.
