DULUTH, Ga. - The Gladiators (5-8-0-0) are back home at The Arena at Gwinnett Center after an unsuccessful road trip to Estero, Fla. The team has hit its longest skid of the season, up to five games now, and will look to get back into the East Division race with the next four games against the South Carolina Stingrays (4-8-0-4). The Gladiators will host the Stingrays in Duluth for the next two games before heading to North Charleston for two more this weekend.

The last time the Gladiators won was against the Stingrays on November 9th, a 4-2 victory at North Charleston Coliseum. Coyotes prospect Greg Carey burst out for four goals in the game, including a natural hat trick, to sink the "˜Rays. He became the fourth Gladiators to do either of the feats in a game, and the first one in over seven seasons to do so.

Glads Notes:

Nunn Better: Garry Nunn had assists in six straight games entering Saturday night, the second longest assist streak in the league. He's currently tied for second overall with 12 assists on the season.

In the Box: The Gladiators are the fourth most penalized team in the league, averaging 20.62 PIM per game. They are also shorthanded an average of 4.92 times per game, second only to the Missouri Mavericks (5.85) in the league.

Gladiators Ahoy: Four players currently on the Gladiators roster have been assigned from their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates- Nathan Burns, Dyson Stevenson, Dan O'Donoghue, and James Melindy - and four more - Joel Hanley (POR), Jordon Southorn (POR), Greg Carey (POR), and Bretton Stamler (HFD) - were assigned to Gwinnett and have since been recalled to the AHL.

Milestones: Joe Stejskal is three games away from his 200th professional game ... Casey Pierro-Zabotel played in his 300th ECHL game on 11/16 ... New Gladiator Geoff paukovich is eight games away from his 300th ECHL game ...

Streaks: Garry Nunn had a six-game assist streak snapped on Saturday ... Defenseman Tristin Llewellyn also had a six-game penalty streak snapped on Saturday. He had also collected two penalties per game in his last five.
