Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Open Four-Game Series against the Gwinnett Gladiators Tonight

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays kick off a four-game series against the Gwinnett Gladiators tonight at 7:05 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia. Tonight is the second of 16 meetings between to the two East-Division rivals this season.

Series Breakdown:

The Stingrays and Gladiators opened their season series back on November 9 at the North Charleston Coliseum with the Gladiators prevailing 4-2. Forward Joe Diamond netted two assists for the Stingrays while forward Greg Carey recorded his first professional hat trick and a four-goal contest. All-time, the Stingrays hold a record of 66-51-13 record against the Gladiators.

Roster Moves:

Yesterday, the Stingrays added forward Brandon Hynes and defenseman Guy Lebeouf from the Missouri Mavericks in exchange for forward Jack Downing. In a separate transaction, the Stingrays released defenseman Mike Devin.

Points from the Point:

Defenseman Garrett Haar has one goal and six assists in his last five games.

The Stingrays continue the four-game series against the Gwinnett Gladiators on Thursday, November 27 at 7:05 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia and return to the North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday, November 29 at 3:05 p.m. against the Gladiators.
