KALAMAZOO- Earlier this afternoon forward Alex Mallet became the latest member of the Kalamazoo Wings to earn a trip to the American Hockey League. Mallet was reassigned by the Vancouver Canucks to the AHL's Utica Comets.

Mallet's reassignment to Utica marks the eighth time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been either called-up or loaned to an AHL team.

The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium this Friday, November 28th with a special 5 p.m. Black Friday face-off versus the Fort Wayne Komets on 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun, featuring $3 beers, $2 Pepsi products and $1 hot dogs courtesy of Winter's Sausage.
