Kalamazoo will begin the week and a four-game home stand this Friday, November 28th with a special 5 p.m. face-off against the Fort Wayne Komets. Friday's game will be a 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun featuring $3 beers, $2 Pepsi products and $1 hot dogs courtesy of Winter's Sausage. On the season Kalamazoo is 1-3-1-0 against Fort Wayne, who begins the week in first place (11-4-0-0, 22 points) in the North Division.

On Saturday, November 29th, the K-Wings will host the Toledo Walleye with a 7:30 p.m. face-off during Movember Mustache Party Night presented by Proper, Midwest Custom Embroidery, Urban Hair Salon, Full Blown Color, Kal Blue and The Traveler Beer Company . Special ticket packages for the event, which includes a ticket to the game, a commemorative t-shirt and entry to the Mustache Mile Walk prior to the game are on sale now. This will be the first of 13 meetings between the K-Wings and Walleye, who begin the week in second place (10-3-0-1, 21 points) in the North Division.

The K-Wings will conclude the week on Sunday, November 30th with a 3 p.m. faceoff versus the Orlando Solar Bears during Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO. The first 500 kids (ages 12 and under) will eat FREE and receive a K-Wings Drawstring Bag, presented by United Healthcare. Sunday will also be Superhero day and fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite Superhero. Following the game the K-Wings will host a post game skate with the players, presented by United Healthcare (skate rental if needed is $3). This will be the first of two meetings this season between the teams and Orlando's only visit to Wings Stadium. The Solar Bears start the week in second place (10-6-2-0, 22 points) in the East Division.

The K-Wings will be home for the holidays. Starting this Friday, Kalamazoo will begin a four-game home stand.
Second Period Dominance
Leading after the second period has been vital for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo is 4-0-0-0 when leading after 40-minutes of play.
Moving Up the List Last week was a milestone weekend for forward Justin Taylor. Last Friday, Taylor played in his 200th career game for Kalamazoo and on Saturday he surpassed former K-Wings forward Andrew Fournier (142 points) for fourth place (143 points) on the team's All-Time ECHL Scoring List. .
Ending a Streak
Kalamazoo will head into this week looking to snap a streak. The K-Wings are winless (0-4-0-1) in their last five games.
The Obscure Stat of the Week
