(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Phillies and Altoona Curve will conclude their three-game series on Wednesday, July 27th, with an exciting day at America's Classic Ballpark. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m., and the evening will be jam-packed with fun.
VIST Financial Plaza gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and fans 21-years-old and older can enjoy Happy Hour with $1 off select beers, thanks to the special Miller Light Happy Hour. During the Miller Light Happy Hour, fans can listen to a great pre-game concert featuring music by John Hain (5:00-6:30 p.m.). Additionally, members of the Redner's R-Phils Kids Club can enjoy the Kids Happy Half Hour with free Phunland games (5:00-5:30 pm).
The first 2,000 adults, ages 21 and over, will receive an R-Phils Crazy Hair Hat, courtesy of All-Star Distributing and Corona. This stylish hat features a head of synthetic "hair," and was featured in our "Top 20 Promotions" of the 2011 season. This is an AWESOME giveaway, and fans will be thrilled to get their hands -- or head, on this item.
Wednesday's game will also feature a Jimmy Buffett Tribute Night with great Jimmy Buffett music all evening long. Also, the R-Phils will also hold the 11th Annual Chili Fest in VIST Financial Plaza, thanks to Rock Hits Y102. Fans will want to come out for a delicious night, as everyone can sample some of the best chili vendors around the greater Reading area.
Friday is also another 4 for $49 Family Night, thanks to Capital BlueCross. As part of the 4 for $49 Family Night, fans can take part in a pre-game play catch on-the-field, free player autographs, and free balloon art, thanks to Capital BlueCross.
