VS CALGARY: This is the fourth meeting of the season between the Rebels and the Tigers. The Tigers lead the season series 2-1-0-0 and are 16-2-1-0 vs the Rebels in the last five years. The Rebels currently sit 2nd in the Central Division and 3rd in the Eastern Conference with a record of 27-12-2-1, good enough for 57 points. Oren Shtrom has had the hot hand against the Rebels this year with two goals, while Oasiz Wiesblatt has three assists against Red Deer this season. Arshdeep Bains (19G, 39A) and Ben King (33G, 25A) lead the Rebels in scoring with 58 points through 42 games.

LAST GAME: The Tigers took on the Calgary Hitmen Saturday night at Co-op Place. It was a wild affair that saw eight 3rd period goals, including three goals by the Tigers in 1:09 to claw back to within one. Ultimately there would not be enough time to complete the comeback as the Tigers fell to the Hitmen by a score of 6-5. Logan Barlage had two goals and an assist in his home debut for the Tigers. Owen MacNeil, Rhett Parsons and Teague Patton each had single markers for the Tigers.
MILESTONES: Daniel Baker played in his 200th career WHL game on January 21st in Saskatoon. Owen MacNeil appeared in his 100th career WHL game vs the Prince Albert Raiders the following night. Rhett Parsons, Oren Shtrom, Oasiz Wiesblatt, Tyler MacKenzie, Pavel Bocharov and Teague Patton each recently played in their 50th career games, while Brayden Boehm, Ashton Ferster and Reid Andresen close in on the milestone.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Brayden Boehm was selected by Medicine Hat in the 2nd round of the 2019 WHL Prospect Draft, 37th overall. The Nanaimo, BC product will be appearing in his 50th career WHL game tonight vs the Rebels. In 49 games Boehm has 14 points, including five goals and 9 assists. The 2004 born winger shows plays a tough game and is not afraid to get into the dirty areas. He brings elite speed to go with his growing confidence at the WHL level.
