RHP Zack Brown (0-2, 4.37) vs. RHP Brock Stewart (0-0, 1.59)

Double Dipping: Last night was the second doubleheader the Missions have played this week. They are 3-1 in the four contests and have two shutouts. Last season San Antonio went 5-3 in their four twin bills including two sweeps. They swept Double-A Arkansas on April 7 and Double-A Northwest Arkansas on July 5.

Everybody Hits: In game one of last night's double dip all eight position players recorded a hit. The only other time this season the Missions have had as many as eight different players record a hit was on April 15 against Nashville. The DH was in effect in that game and left fielder Tyler Saladino was the only hitless Mission on the day.

High Achievers: In game one of last night's doubleheader the Missions acheived multiple season-highs. The three-run deficit they overcame was the largest come-frombehind victory for the Missions this season. The eight runs scored were the most San Antonio has scored in a game and the seven runs in the sixth inning were the most scored in a single inning this season.

Hager Bombs: Josh Hager blasted home runs in both games last night and has hit three in the last four games. He is the third Missions player this season to hit home runs in back-to-back games and the fourth time it has happened. Tyler Saladino went deep in back-to-back games on April 12 & 13 and again on April 16 & 17. Mauricio Dubon accomplished the feat on April 16 & 17 as well.

WWWWinners: With last night's doubleheader sweep the Missions have now won a season-best four games in a row. During the four game stretch San Antonio is batting .259 (28-for-108) and is outscoring their opponents 22-3. The pitching staff has an ERA 0.90 (3 ER/30.0 IP). It is the first four-game winning streak for San Antonio since May 29-June 1, 2018. The last time the Missions won five games in a row was during their 11-game streak from May 1-12, 2018.
