Last time on TV

There's no better way to watch Winterhawks hockey than in-person, but if you can't make it, tonight's game will be the final one broadcast on Portland's CW this year. Catch the action on ch. 3 & 703 for one last time in 2021-22!

About last night

If you weren't watching the Hawks take on the Silvertips last night, you missed out on quite the comeback! Down by a pair with fewer than five minutes remaining, Marcus Nguyen got the Hawks within a goal. Then, in the final minute of play, Clay Hanus came up clutch to force overtime, where Cross Hanas capped off a pretty passing play for the win.

That's our kind of Friday night! Time to keep the momentum rolling into tonight's big tilt on home ice!

So long, Seattle

It's the 13th and final matchup between Portland and Seattle this year - at least during the regular season. The Winterhawks have owned the season series with eight wins in 12 games and will look to cap it off with an exclamation point on home ice tonight.

WIN A TOYOTA:

Back for another season, fans 18+ who reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington can ENTER TO WIN a brand new Toyota car, truck, or SUV.

Each game this season, one lucky fan will have their entry drawn and they will have a chance to win our grand prize if they get all five game predictions correct.

Tonight, we are cheering on: David D. from Damascus, OR

What our Hawks fan could win: A brand new Highlander

What needs to happen?

Portland Winterhawks (4) beat the Seattle Thunderbirds (1)

Jaydon Dureau scores the first Winterhawks goal.

Portland goaltenders make 34 total saves.

Seattle goaltenders make 37 total saves.

Good luck tonight, David!
