Wiesblatt's Season Cut Short Due to Injury

Prince Albert, Sask. - Through consultation between the Prince Albert Raiders' doctors and the San Jose Sharks' doctors, Ozzy Wiesblatt's season has been cut short due to an upper-body injury.

Wiesblatt will head to San Jose for further evaluation to determine the appropriate next steps in his recovery.

Drafted in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft by the San Jose Sharks, Wiesblatt scored 10 goals and totalled 41 points in 43 games with the Raiders this season.

Before leaving Prince Albert, Wiesblatt will be the guest on the 900 CKBI Post-Game Show in the Ches Leach Lounge following tonight's game against the Regina Pats.
