HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the 12th meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Mavericks. All-time, Wichita is 35-32-4 against Missouri and 15-16-3 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita finishes up a two-game swing tonight against the Missouri Mavericks in the Independence Cup Series. The Thunder are looking for their first win in the season-series after losing a close one last night by the final score of 2-1. After tonight, the two teams will not play again until the beginning of March and will see each other three times in the month. Missouri leads the Central Division with 68 points while the Thunder are in fourth place with 28 points.

700 - Head Coach Kevin McClelland will reach a milestone tonight, coaching in his 700th game. The former Stanley Cup Champion is the Thunder's all-time winningest coach, going 186-150-43. Overall, he is sporting a 373-257-69 record during his 11-year career.

NAIL BITER - Wichita fought back into the game last night, but couldn't overcome Missouri's quick start. Wichita is tied with Manchester and Greenville for the most one-goal games in the league (7-8-4-4).

BASH BRO - Kale Kerbashian has made an impact since coming over from Rapid City. In 11 games with the Thunder, Kerbashian has 12 points (3g, 9a), including an assist in last night's game. He leads all Thunder players with 14 points in January (4g, 10a).

END OF THE MONTH - Wichita closes out the month of January tonight with one more meeting at Missouri. The Thunder finished up their home portion on Wednesday, going 1-2-1-1 during the month. Overall, Wichita is 3-6-3-1 in January and are 3-1-0-0 on Wednesday nights at home so far this season.
