Wichita is 2-0-0-0 vs. Evansville

HEAD TO HEAD - This is the third and final meeting of the season between the Thunder and the IceMen. All-time, Wichita is 6-4-0 against Evansville and 4-1-0 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita closes out a three-in-three today at the Ford Center against the Evansville IceMen. The Thunder knocked off the Quad City Mallards last night in overtime by the final of 3-2 while the IceMen used a five-goal first period to skate away with a 6-2 victory over the Tulsa Oilers. Today is the final meeting of the season between the Thunder and the IceMen. Wichita has taken the first two meetings, with the last contest between the two on January 27th. Nathan Moon leads the IceMen with two goals against the Thunder. Logan Nelson leads the way for the Thunder with four points, including his first professional hat trick in their last meeting.

KOOL-AID - Miles Koules has scored the game-winner in back-to-back games for the Thunder. He tallied the shootout winner on Friday night and then potted the overtime winner on Saturday against his former team. The Los Angeles, California native recorded his first goal in a Thunder uniform with the OT winner.

BERGY - Domenic Alberga recorded his first two-goal game of the season with a pair last night against Quad City. It was also his first multi-point night of the year. He scored in the first and then put home his own rebound in the second for his fifth and sixth goals of the season.

EXTRA TIME - Wichita played another game past 60 minutes last night. The Thunder have appeared in three-straight games past regulation and seven of the last nine games for the Thunder have gone into extra time. Wichita leads the league with 19 games decided in OT or a shootout and 10-9-6-6 in one-goal games.

REUNION - Donnie Harris and Kale Kerbashian will play against their former team this afternoon. Kerbashian played in 37 games last season in Evansville while Harris spent three seasons with the IceMen. Wichita traded former IceMen defenseman Brandon Martell to Alaska earlier this week.

THREE'S A PLENTY - The Thunder finish off a three-in-three this afternoon in their third city of the weekend. Wichita was in Independence on Friday night and Moline, IL on Saturday. Wichita will close its seven-game road trip next week with a pair of games at Allen.

THUNDERBOLTS... Ian Lowe leads the team in shots (150)...Lowe and Andy Huff are tied for seventh in the ECHL in shorthanded goals (2)...Landon Oslanski leads all defensemen with nine power play goals...Dan Milan leads the team with 112 penalty minutes...Wichita is tied for second in the league in minor penalties (317)...Wichita is 8-1-1-1 when leading after two...

ICEMEN NOTES - Evansville is 3-0-0-1 in its last four games...Mike Duco had two goals last night while Jordan Sims had a pair of assists in the IceMen's 6-2 win over Tulsa...Scott Greenham has been recalled by the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League...Daultan Leveille is tied for 15th with 21 goals and tied for seventh with five game-winning goals...

AROUND THE ECHL - There are seven other games today in the ECHL. Elmira heads to Brampton. Greenville goes to Atlanta. Orlando takes on Manchester. Norfolk travels to Reading. Colorado hosts Fort Wayne. Tulsa is in Missouri. Allen heads to Rapid City.
