MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced today that Colin Stevens was loaned to the Monarchs by the Portland Pirates (AHL).

Stevens, 22, has played in 23 games with the Monarchs this season, posting a 15-5-1-0 record, a 2.39 GAA and a 0.920 save percentage. Stevens comes back from his second career call to the AHL, but has not seen game action thus far in Portland. The rookie goaltender from Union College returns to the Monarchs on an eight-game winning streak dating back to January 23 and has posted a 15-2-0-1 record since dropping the first three starts of his professional career.

Stevens and the Monarchs are back in action today, Sunday, Mar. 6 (3 p.m.) when they host the Orlando Solar Bears in the final game of a three-game series with their Eastern Conference rivals.
